Our Makers.
Every Chappell Barrett garment begins with the people who make it.
Clothing can only be as good as the hands that craft it. That is why the makers behind every piece are a central part of what Chappell Barrett stands for. Rather than relying on distant supply chains, we work directly with skilled manufacturers here in England who bring decades of experience to their craft.
Our garments are produced in a London factory where small teams of highly skilled machinists cut, sew, and assemble each piece with care. These are craftspeople who understand fabric, construction, and the small details that turn good clothing into garments that last for years.
Because production happens close to home, relationships matter. We know the people behind the machines, we visit regularly, and we work together to refine each design. Patterns are adjusted, fabrics are tested, and every garment is made with the same attention to detail that defines traditional British garment making.
Alongside our London factory, our signature knight embroidery is completed in a nearby workshop. This small detail represents courage and resilience within the brand, and having it embroidered locally allows us to support another independent British maker while ensuring the same standard of quality across every garment.
Working with makers in England keeps the process transparent and personal. It allows us to maintain a level of craftsmanship that mass production simply cannot replicate, while also supporting the skilled workforce that continues to keep British manufacturing alive.
Behind every Chappell Barrett piece is a team of people who take pride in their work. Their skill, patience, and attention to detail are what turn fabric into clothing built to be worn, lived in, and relied upon.
Clothed in Courage.
